Council approves two salary increases and street light project
The council granted two wage raises, boosting the clerk’s monthly pay from 37.50 to 50 and increasing the sewer and water superintendent’s salary. Ohio Edison will install ten street lights near the new high school, including two mercury lamps on Mill and Church streets. A sewer line repair is needed to curb surface water entering the plant. The Father son football banquet will be held at the VFW post in Dalton with tickets sold at the door.
