Christmas Bazaar and Smorgasbord at First Pres Orrville

A Christmas Bazaar and Smorgasbord will be held at First Presbyterian Church Crestview Drive Orrville. The smorgasbord runs Friday December 1 from 4 30 to 7 30 p m with tickets 2 for adults and 1 for children 12 and under. The Bazaar hours are Friday 3 30 to 9 p m and Saturday December 2 from 9 to 12 a m. Tickets available from members or at the door. The event features Christmas gifts decorations and holiday foods.

Buckeye Feed Mills Inc reports a fiscal year end with higher sales and a 15 percent rise in production. After a January 1969 fire the firm spent three years rebuilding and surpassed 1968 production highs. The Ohio State team topped eighteen other colleges at the Intercollegiate Quarter Horse Judging Contest held October 26 with a total of 1617 points at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus. Ted Renner led individuals in halter and Ohio State claimed top halter honors while Seve Jackson of Texas A and M led performance classes. Christmas Seal Campaign Opens With 94000 Letters

The 66th annual campaign begins this week with 94 000 Christmas Seal letters going to Stark and Wayne counties. Seals support health education projects and free school materials on smoking and air conservation. The TBRD Association runs X ray screening, delivering 78 000 free X rays annually in the two counties. Citizens are urged to donate and use seals on holiday mail.
