Despite rain and a night snowstorm voters in Dalton and Sugarcreek Township cast an exceptionally heavy vote as the day opened with drizzle and falling temperatures. The scene ended with winter weather covering the area as polls remained active.
Prices reduced to 75 cents for adults and 40 cents for children to unify season tickets for 63 act plays at Dalton High School this winter.
First National Bank announces closure on Saturday November 11 to observe Armistice Day. Goudy offers winter program prep with free radio tube testing and retubing services.

A surprise party honoring Mrs Will Cook was hosted by Class No 9 of the Presbyterian Sunday School at her Wednes day home with a large dinner. Attendees included Mesdames Scheuffler Wilson Buchwalter Rudy Eckard Erwin Camp Jameson Poorman Hershey Wecht. A second event featured a surprise shower for Miss Arlene Lehman at Mr and Mrs John Caldwell’s home with 25 relatives and friends in attendance. The Freshmen held a literary program on October 31 featuring group singing, piano solos, talks on education, vocal numbers, jokes, and extemporaneous speeches by listed students. A November 1 class party included games, a short program, and a lunch. An agriculture short course starts November 13 for 16 to 25 year olds, with farm engineering free and electrical courses 75 cent enrollment. electrical work begins January 1, 1934.
