A union church project sustains daily vacation Bible school with about 115 children aged 5 to 14 enrolled. Attendance tops 100 each day as teachers coordinate across three Dalton churches. The final program will be at Salem Mennonite church with all children expected to attend along with parents and friends.
Glenn G. Douglas and Emma B. Miller were married at the bride’s parents home near Marshallville on Saturday afternoon June 15 1829 by Rev. R. G. Pinkerton. The event featured a ring ceremony and a fine wedding supper for a small group of guests.

Mrs. Gerber hosted a Y W class gathering of 22 members and 5 guests at the Presbyterian church. The event featured peony decorations, a piano solo, readings and jokes, lunch with yellow themed treats, and prizes won by several members.
