A westbound freight found a legless headless body near the station but the remains were merely a neatly stuffed dummy placed by a prankster. Trainmen and road master investigated and later moved the dummy to the station before reacting to the gruesome illusion. The trainmaster, appalled by the act, could only express disbelief.

Arlington Lodge 775 I O O F followed its annual custom decorating graves of deceased brothers in Dalton cemeteries.
