Operation for Appendicitis Claims Young Patient

Miss Irace Owens, 17, daughter of Mr and Mrs John II Owens, was stricken with appendicitis Wednesday of last week and Friday morning underwent an operation at her Schultz avenue home. The operation was by Dr N IT Stoll of Wooster with assistants Dr Geo W Ryall of Wooster Dr J I Campbell of Massillon and Dr D Yoebuck of this place. Nurse Mig s Aitkenhead of Wooster ity Hospital attended. The procedure was reported very ingenious and the patient is progressing as well as could be expected.

Doylestown Man Dies During Dentist Appointment

Thos F Brouse aged 61 a retired farmer of Doylestown died suddenly last Monday while having teeth removed in Akron. The dentist administered nitrous oxide and oxygen and Brouse never regained consciousness after the extractions.

Man Breaks Arm Installing Spouting on Local Building

Mr. C. Feasel, while putting spouting on a building owned by H. B. Jameson on Thursday, fell about five feet from a turning ladder and struck his left arm, breaking a small bone. He was treated for the injury.

Ice Cream Festival Planned at West Lebanon

An ice cream festival will be held in West Lebanon Ohio on Saturday night June 3 1911. Ice cream cake lemonade and other treats will be served. Proceeds benefit the M E church with music by the 16 band.

Fire destroys Nancy Eberly property at Burton City
