Pleasant View school held its second annual reunion on July 17 with 135 attendees. Elmer Ober led songs, Bonnie Junn read readings, and talks were given by former pupils including C Clyde Hollinger Ira Berg and Rev Marion Berg. Flowers were given to the oldest pupil, Mrs Mattie Eicher. A picnic followed as guests from Wooster Canton Massillon Dalton Youngstown Orrville Rob etsville Canal Fulton and Akron joined in. The group voted to hold another reunion next year with Miss Rhee Hooley chairing the committee and a new term honoring the current organizers.

M Robert Huston 22 of Millersburg wins the sixth annual Ohio State Medical Association Rural Medical Scholarship. Huston is active in 4 H Scouting and Methodist youth work and earned half his premedical expenses.

Safety Health chaired by Mrs Ross Marty with Mrs Eldon Nussbaum. Membership led by Mrs Harlan Thompson with several assistants. Publications chaired by Mrs Ralph Speck and Mrs Homer Crofut. Hospitality led by multiple couples. Publicity to Mrs Robert Slusser and Miss Mildred Santschi. Room Mothers chaired by Mrs Leslie Moser. County Council to Mrs Howard Boals and Mrs Wilbur Eckard. Social chaired by multiple members. Program led by Mrs Paul Stockham Myron Johnson and Mrs Ada McDowell. I Glen Berg and Mrs Kathryn Seager among others. Ways Means led by several couples including Mr Elmer Van Dersall and Mr Sterling McFarren.
Mr and Mrs C Kruschenske returned from a trip to northern Michigan visiting the Ford museum in Dearborn the Soo locks on the St Marys River at Sault Ste Marie and the Rainbow trout hatcheries at Paris Michigan.
Mr and Mrs Oakley A Eisner concluded a trip visiting four states and the historic city of Hagerstown Md They stayed at Town Hill hotel perched on a 2900 ft mountain top famed as The Beauty Spot of Maryland The return ends a memorable journey with noted scenic stops.
The Bonus Comitus club held a farewell party at the Harry Buchwalter residence on a spacious lawn for Mrs Stanley Douglas. Twelve members enjoyed a log fire picnic supper and the guest of honor received a gift.

Presbyterian Church schedule includes 9 30 a m Bible Study hour led by superintendent Carl Shisler and 10 30 a m Worship service with special guest Paul Wright from Chicago Divinity College on August 1.
Sugar Creek Grange invites all grangers and families to a picnic on August 8 at 12 30 p m slow time at Long Lake southwest of Wooster off Route 3. Beverages provided by the committee.
