State Highway Chief Plans Lincoln Highway Widening
Leon C. Herrick, state highway commissioner, phoned Wayne county officials from Columbus to start widening the Lincoln highway in Wayne county. He favors beginning east from Wooster to the Stark county line, adding eight feet of brick paving to reach eighteen feet wide throughout Wayne county. Officials expect enough workers to complete the project before winter, as culverts and grading are already finished.
