Friday night about ten o’clock Nelson Zuercher and two unknown drivers in a rival rig collided with A H Arick’s automobile on the pike near Jas Erwin’s. Arick’s car was damaged. the horse shattered the windshield and light, wrecking the buggy. The horse fled, later found unharmed near the Hess slaughter house. The unknown racers escaped, identities undisclosed. Arick had a passenger and slowed the car to avoid further harm. The accident was sensational with potential for serious injury.

Obituary: Mrs Nabecca Stough Cornelius Dies at 69
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Nabecca Jane Stough Cornelius from her Orrville home. She was born December 2 1841 in Ashland County Ohio and died July 6 1911 after a long illness. Survived by four sisters and seven children from two marriages, with one child living in Julius Cheney’s family near Dalton. She joined the Ortville Methodist Church in 1885 and reposed in hope of eternal life.

Theodore George, a Massillon saloon keeper, was arrested last Thursday by Sheriff Van Nest on a county local option law violation.
