James Snyder born December 28 1838 near Uniontown Pa died January 2 1921 in Dalton Ohio aged 82 years 4 days He lived in Wayne County for years and belonged to the Presbyterian church He served in the 41st Ohio Infantry and attended National Encampments The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church with Rev R E Conrad assisted by Revs Shear and Schweisberger Interment in Dalton Cemeteries He is survived by two brothers Rev L M Snyder of Nankin and John Snyder and sister Mrs Hattie Norris of Dalton
