Edgerton Named Director of Pharmacy at Wadsworth Hospital
Edgerton Richard formerly of Edgerton Drug Dalton has been appointed Director of Pharmacy at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital in Wadsworth Ohio. He started February 19 and will oversee pharmaceutical services for the hospital. Beveral has done volunteer work there for months. Their son Mike is in his first year of nursing at Akron General Medical Center. The Edgertons live at 10030 Beech Drive in Wadsworth.

Dalton PTA honors Miss Santschi and reports activities
Dalton PTA last Tuesday heard four faculty members discuss schoolday activities. Miss Mildred Santschi received a life member pin and $25 for her scholarship fund. Mrs. Sandra Beery outlined the district wide psychology program serving Dalton Local and another district, noting two days per week in Dalton. Superintendent Berg detailed transportation for 964 students on 11 buses with costs and state aid. Clerk Slusser reviewed lunch program operations and recent changes. Principal Leank presented environmental education for sixth grade. Executive Committee actions funded PTA magazine subscriptions, Book Fair proceeds to libraries, and $45 for new blinds.

Dalton Bulldogs dominate Hornets 81 to 59 in tourney opener
Dalton Bulldogs opened tournament play with an 81 59 win over the Hornets. Ketler led with 22 points followed by Drew 15 Hann 14 and West 10. Dalton built a 35 27 halftime lead and stretched to 56 30 in the fourth before coasting to victory. The win sets up a matchup with Hillsdale.

Rev and Mrs Detweiler will tour the Holy Land with their congregation for the World Bible Conference in Galilee and Jerusalem. The trip marks their 25th Israel anniversary and features a feeding of the 5 000 reenactment and Mendelssohn Elijah on Mt. Carmel.
