Presbyterian Church News Dalton sermon on Christ the Great Physician
The Dalton Presbyterian Church will host a morning worship service on Sunday March 3 with a pen portrait of Jesus from the Gospel of Mark titled Christ the Great Physician. An organ prelude begins at 10:30 a.m. and church school meets at 9:30 a.m. under Roy Hac kett. Margaret Moser leads the Westminster Fellowship Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. with the topic What Do We Know About Our Church. Keith Goudy and Charlene Hostetler will lead worship. Circle Day for the women is Tuesday March 5 with four circles meeting at four homes. A recent Presbyterian men’s briefing on the Pleasant Hill Dam camp project featured Bob Jameson and Al Bardeen. committees are formed to raise the camp quota, with about $800 pledged so far. Don Baker presided over Men’s Club. coffee and doughnuts were served by Russell Dague and helpers. A World Day of Prayer service will be held March 8 at Salem Mennonite Church from 1:45 to 3:00 p.m. with the Tonga Islands theme Who Shall Separate Us. All Dalton women are invited to join.

Mrs Russell Miller of Orrville taught leathercraft to the Dalton Senior Girl Scouts last Thursday. On February 24 the group attended Thinking Sunday at the Presbyterian Church with Mrs Geneva Berg. They stuffed over 3,000 Easter seals for the Committee for Crippled Children under Louis Tschantz. The committee, led by Mrs William Tyrrell, plans an April 6 ham and swiss steak dinner at the high school cafeteria.
