Miss Hulda Hanna of Canton Ohio died Tuesday afternoon the 21st. She leaves many friends and acquaintances in Dalton. Funeral will be held from the Canton home at 1 30 Friday afternoon, with interment in Canton cemetery.

Last Friday evening public schools staged an entertainment in honor of Washington and Lincoln. Old Glory featured prominently and the program highlighted patriotism. The Blues defeated D. H. S. S. 100 to 0 in the first ever game in Dalton. A large attendance braved cold and stormy weather as Blues and D. H. S. S. delivered a fast paced contest. Lineup featured Sellers Kauffman Camp Morrow Wertz LeQ Owens LaViers Morrow with Slusser as referee and Owens as timekeeper. Halves lasted 20 minutes.
