Dean Monbarren was elected president of the Dalton Chamber of Commerce at the directors meeting after the annual dinner Tuesday night. Two new directors were elected Leroy Schlabach and Norm Berg with Schlabach as vice president and Harold Douglas as treasurer. C E Basner was secretary and board members include Chuck Bach Louis Tschantz and Norm Berg.

World Day of Prayer Planned Across Dalton Churches
World Day of Prayer will be observed on March 5 with Rev. David Redding as principal speaker. Dalton Methodist Church hosts 1000 a m services with a senior girls ensemble providing music. Activities include separate services for grades 1-6 at 130 and 7-12 afterward, with optional attendance. The Rev. Redding, connected with First Presbyterian East Cleveland, has authored religious works and studied at Wooster College Ohio State and Oberlin School of Theology, and has held pastorates in Plain City and Cincinnati.
