Dr. H. G. Bond of the Ohio Department of Agriculture will speak on mamitis and abortion disease at Dalton High School Friday evening February 26. Bond is a veteran in the field and his presentation is welcomed. All farmers are invited to attend.

Thirty eight members gathered at the Presbyterian church basement on Tuesday evening for the February banquet. L. V. Beamer of Massillon spoke on Ohio Bell Telephone Co. business and C. Boggins discussed state wide maintenance of the Ohio Bell network. C. F. Buchwalter was elected president with Ira Adams as vice president, W. A. Mumaw secretary, and J. F. Moser treasurer.
Herman Whitman, a Doylestown World War veteran, was fatally injured when ravelings from his sweater caught in a buzz saw at his brother Leo Whitman’s home west of Barberton. He died en route to Barberton hospital. He is survived by his wife and five children, the oldest nine.
Dalton High School Athletic Association announces three act comedy The Clay's the Thing to be performed Saturday night March 5 in the high school auditorium. Admission 16 26 cents, reserve seats 10 cents extra. show starts promptly at 8 pm with orchestra entertainment before start. Special features between acts promised.
The O G Girls of Bondil present the comedy drama Jimmy Be Careful at Lawrence Two School near Newman on Thursday night March 3 with music by the Kula Shing Quartet. Admission 10 cents.

Bixler, a church quilting at Salem for Laura Burkholder, and several birthdays and relocations including Amstutz moving to a new farm and Lehman taking over Baumgartner property.

Gordon Beam 52 of Applecreek dies after a two month illness. A rural mail carrier for 29 years, he leaves his wife and three sons Clif Doyle and Gaius. Funeral at Reformed church Applecreek Thursday 2 PM. Rebecca Ramseyer 75 of Green township dies after heart complications. Survived by husband two sons two daughters and a daughter in law. Funeral Oak Grove church Thursday 2 PM officiated by Rev J N Smucker and S B Gerig.
John Allen aged 77 of West Lebanon died last Wednesday evening at his son T. J. Allens home in Massillon after a lengthy illness. He leaves four sons Archibald William George and T. J. all in Ohio and two daughters Mrs C D Singer and Mrs William Reese with 29 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral was Saturday with interment in Massillon cemetery. Flora Ann Kieffer 86 widow of Isaac Kieffer died Saturday at the home of her daughter Mrs Frank Cline in Marshallville after long residence in the area.
Mary Rabel aged 86 died at her daughter Mrs E Metzger's home in Orrville Ohio at 11 o clock Saturday evening after a three week illness from paralysis.
Mrs Asenith Garver aged 86 died Monday at the home of her son in law Tom J Smith in West Salem. The funeral will be held at the Smith home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o clock.
Charles Wickard 73 was found dead in his bed at his home in Marshallville on Monday morning. A neighbor, arriving after Wickard did not answer, found him inside his bedroom. Wickard died during the night and is survived by three sons Carl Detroit Clarence Wooster and Harry Akron.
