Dan Moser of West Main street underwent an operation at Massillon city hospital on Saturday. Mrs. F. W. Mann is a patient at Massillon city hospital. James C Goudy of 202 was also taken to Massillon city hospital Saturday night. All were transported by Monbar ren invalid car service. Mrs. Harold R. Davis is a patient in University hospital Cleveland following an operation last Wednesday with good condition. Miss Doralee Gardner, daughter of the Clarence Gardners, is in Massillon city hospital.

Mayor Clarence J. Kraus and his wife completed a 3500 mile journey through ten states. They reported pleasant weather and visited Florida highlights such as St. Augustine Miami the Everglades and Sarasota Cypress Gardens. In DeLand they visited DR McDowell who sent oranges and kumquats from his trees. On their way home they met Merlin Berg at Anniston Alabama and David Garver at Cold Spring Kentucky.

Dean Norris, longtime newspaper editor, dies at 70
Dean Norris aged 70 died at his West Main street home after a weeks long illness. He was born February 15, 1879 in Fort Wayne Indiana and worked at the New Castle Courier Times Fort Wayne Journal Gazette St Petersburg Times Dayton Herald and many others. Survived by two daughters two granddaughters and a half sister. Funeral held Tuesday at Monbarren Funeral Home with burial in Dalton Cemetery.

Funeral Held For Thomas J. Reese Massillon Resident
The funeral for Thomas J. Reese 66 of Massillon who died of a heart attack last Thursday was held Saturday at Arnold Lynch Funeral Home Massillon. The Rev Lester Flauhaus officiated with burial in Stanwood cemetery. Survivors include two sisters Mrs W Buchwalter of Dalton and Mrs Clyde Zaugg of Canton and two brothers Azariah Reese of Stanwood and Reese Reese of Canton. Attendees from Dalton included Mr and Mrs D W Buchwalter Mrs Annald Rees Mrs Wm Berg Mrs Karl Shocksnider and Floyd Rees.
