A W and L E Ry representative located the site for stock yards at Dalton station just north of the Lintern Mill. Construction will start at once, driven by the Chamber of Commerce's efforts, allowing Dalton to ship stock of all kinds.
Mr. Peter Busse, a machine operator, was crushed on his right foot while moving equipment at Mine 25 on Monday. The injury is severe with fractures to several small bones and will require several weeks of recovery.

John Knerr, a well known resident near Stanwood, died at his home last Wednesday night at age 76 years 9 months and one day. A Civil War veteran, he served in Co F 82d O V I. Survived by his wife nine children 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral was held from Stanwood Reformed Church Saturday with Rev Gruber of North Lawrence officiating.

Miss Amy Santmyer daughter of D. H. Santmyer and Geo Johnston son of Mr and Mrs J W Johnston were married Thursday evening at 630 at the Methodist parsonage. Rev W H Bryenton performed the ceremony. The couple will live with the bride's father.

J B McCormick age 58 owner of the Alhambra theatre Wooster confessed to bombing the Wallace theatre on Friday the 11th and to December blasts. He also admitted theft of two moving picture machine heads and indicated jealousy over the Wallace drawing business. Grand jury returned five indictments, he was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in the penitentiary and taken to the institution Saturday morning.
