Gerber’s home. John W. Anistutz, brother-in-law of Jacob J. Moser, died in Allen county. Jacob P. Gerber bought the Peter J. Gerber 80-acre home farm for 125 per acre. Ed Moser family and Barbara Moser departed for Pandora. Dan Moser died suddenly of apoplexy.

He notes cool damp weather with daily rain, a morning dusting of snow, and partial pay of 62 francs ($11.40) last month, his first since July 8 1918, ending with regards to family.

Students missed part of Monday and Tuesday afternoons for the Farmers Institute. Elmer Springer visited D H S on Tuesday. Helen Mumaw hosted friends at her grandmother’s home Friday night. Hulshizer spent the weekend in Cleveland. Miller and Peters were out of town. 24 bulletin boards were added in the hall. Philomathean Society held its monthly meeting with a debate opposing foreign immigration. Valentines were shared after the program. Visitors Fulton Gibson Haney and Badertscher joined Friday. Haney read a short poem.
