The Bulldogs meet Smithville in the district tournament opener next Wednesday night at Wooster. Tip is 7 30 and this is the only game on the schedule for that night. A letter to the Editor by Attorney Flath appears on page five inviting discussion.
On Monday the Dalton council gave first reading to a new curfew ordinance affecting under 18s with different hours for under 14 and 14 to 18 groups and set an upcoming full text publication. It also unanimously approved sending a letter to the Wayne County Library Board urging a Dalton branch library. The mayor reported Ohio Water Co surveys advancing despite illness.
Dr Woodrow Wilson Sayre grandson of President Wilson will attend a lecture at Central Christian High School Kidron on Monday February 21 He will narrate a film of his Everest north face climb attempt Tickets are sold at the door.
Rev. Paul R. Price at Dalton Methodist Church will preach Our Ministry at 10 45 a m with Mrs I Glen Berg at the organ. Church circles meet Tuesday at 8 00 p m Mary Circle hosts Sally Weisgarber with Judy Chaboude co host. Fourth quarter conference March 13 features a panel discussion after an all church dinner. Dale Scott of Columbia Gas of Ohio recently completed a week at Marble Cliff training center.
In Orrville Mrs Winona Stahl hosted Sunday dinner guests Mr and Mrs Hughes of Akron and Mrs Hazel Goudy. The Robert Morlands moved from Baker apartments to 7 East Schultz Avenue and then to North Mill Street in the Guy Rudy home recently vacated by the Leslie Sandwiths. James Taggart chaired the Memorial Park Board.
Dalton area churchwomen mark World Day of Prayer on February 25 with services at 10 am at Dalton United Presbyterian. Rev. George Parkinson of Christ United Presbyterian Canton to speak. event notes global reach and Scotland written text. An Ash Wednesday prayer breakfast series begins next Wednesday at 9 am at Dalton Presbyterian, continuing weekly through Lent.

Friday February 18 features Band ninth period pep rally at 2 35 and the final season game at Triway. Monday February 21 has Band ninth period and Adult Farmers. Tuesday February 22 includes Roma club and band ninth period. Web February 23 presents Group guidance ninth period and a sectional basketball tourney. Thursday February 24 lists Band ninth period and basketball at 3 35 for Wooster sectional.
