The body of Pfc Howard Harvey Steiner who died on Luzon April 15 1945 was returned home near Orrville Wednesday. Born March 6 1925 he was the son of Harvey S and Archie Wertz Steiner. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Leickheim Funeral Home Orrville and burial followed in Crown Hill cemetery. He is survived by his mother three sisters Grace Geiser Margaret Swegehimer Catherine Gerber and four brothers Fred Warren Kenneth.

John A. Falb, 71, of AD 2 Dalton, died Wednesday afternoon after a yearlong illness. A retired farmer and lifelong Dalton resident, he is survived by a son Albert Falb, two sisters Mrs. Amos A. Nussbaum and Mrs. Albert Baumgartner of Apple Creek, two brothers Elias Falb and David Falb, and five grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at 9:30 a m at his residence and 10 a m at Sonnenberg Mennonite Church with Revs. Louis Amstutz and Jacob Neuen schwander officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
