Dalton residents hear a high school and Bluffton College joint performance of The Fool by Chan ning Pollock this Saturday evening February 19. The $50 royalty play promises Christian principles and a romantic plot with suspenseful entertainment. Tickets are on sale for reserved seating.
Dr. DeArment's Great Dane named Queen will headline a series of entertainments in Ohio. February 23 at Massillon Masonic Temple to benefit Masons and families. March 3 at Bedford High School Auditorium. March 18 at Dalton High School for the Ladies' Cemetery Association event.
Leonard G. Limpach of Detroit, formerly with Wagner and Limpach, married Florence Buchanan of Bradford Pa., Feb 10 at the Annunciation Church Detroit. Mrs. Limpach is R J Buchanan’s daughter and Vassar graduate. He attended Western Reserve and Big Rapids pharmacy school and belongs to the Delta Tau Delta. They will reside in Detroit with him working in a wholesale drug firm.
Township Trustees and County Commissioners adopt a resolution to improve the Dalton West Lebanon road under the Green law. Work starts one mile east of Dalton on the Lincoln highway and extends four miles south. Two miles will be completed this year with gravel 22 feet wide. No assessments. benefitted property owners must grade for the top gravel coat.
Dr. W G Rhoten Wayne county health commissioner and Miss Krip Penberg county nurse will give health talks at Dalston high school auditorium Friday afternoon Feb 18 at two o'clock. It is your privilege and duty to attend. The public is cordially invited.

Calvin Myers moves one mile south to William Myers’ vacated farm. Milo Villard buys the J C Myers property rented to Henry Schaller who plans to move in with his family. E S Miller couple touring Florida. Vernon Klett sells his farm to Mr Crofut and relocates to Rosebrook farm on Woodland road. Mrs Kent Oberlin and Mrs J J Oberlin of Mansfield visit. Merle Shillings leaves for Ann Arbor to join Michigan University medical department.
Moscow School will present an entertainment program Friday evening February 18 starting at 7:30. The event features songs recitations exercises and dialogues with admission priced at 10 and 15 cents.
