Annual Athletic Banquet Planned For March 8
The Dalton Community Club set Wednesday March 8 for the annual athletic banquet with reservations due by March 4. The event will be held in the High School Auditorium with Supt George Eastman and Coach John Gonter on the program committee. The meeting included a chicken dinner served by church ladies and a presentation by David Brenner, First Vice President of First National Bank.

Variety Show Thrills Crowd At High School Auditorium
A large audience enjoyed a multi act program led by Marjorie Steiner soprano soloist. The Stults duo tap danced and Clarice Wenger with Marcia Haney performed a black face comedy. Parade of the Times featured costumes from long ago. Jim Miller hosted as M C and a fifty voice community chorus, directed by Victor Gerber, aided by PTA funds for a stage cyclorama.

Board of Education Sets Policy and Bids in 1950 Meeting
The Board of Education met on February 6 1950 with County Supervisor present. They opposed transferring the west district portion. Bills were paid.
