The Dalton Farmers Institute in Dalton praised leader Raymond Ross and aides for an outstanding two day event despite cold weather. State speakers and local talent provided lectures round tables and performances with nearly 1000 attendees for the closing play The Valley of Ghosts by the Optimistic Players. New officers were elected and a long list of prize winners across exhibits in crops crafts and home economics were announced.
