The Dalton Chamber of Commerce elected E. A. VanDersall as president at the Monday night meeting at Saurer's Shoe Store. Officers named include Fred Blosser as vice president Clair Eckard secretary and Roy Saurer treasurer. Committees were appointed for industrial retail merchants social and membership roads special projects and trustee representation. Bills approved totaled 9.62 to Ohio Edison and 7.15 to Dalton Publishing Co with Blosser moving approval.

Huntsberger Infant Dies In Dalton Funeral Services Held
Funeral services were held Friday for Michael John Huntsberger two day old son of Mr and Mrs Maurice Huntsberger of Dalton. The infant died Thursday in Dunlap Memorial Hospital. Survivors include the parents, maternal grandparents Clarence Gardner and Mr and Mrs Huntsberger, parental grandparents Mr and Mrs J Huntsberger, parental great grandparents Mr and Mrs Samuel Wenger Sr of Orrville, Mr and Mrs Samuel Huntsberger Sr of Orrville, and maternal great great grandparents Mr and Mrs William Gardner of Dalton. Rev Paul Price conducted the services at the Clarence Gardner home. Burial was in Dalton Cemetery. Monbarren Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
