Dalton High basketball went 1 win 1 loss last week defeating Fredericksburg 53 to 26 then losing to Rittman 37 to 22. Dalton Reserves lost their county B contest 19 to 14 and later defeated Rittman 16 to 13 in a separate junior varsity matchup. Friday night Dalton hosts Doylestown on the local floor.

Skull Fracture News From Columbus Auto Accident
Mr and Mrs J C McAdams visited their son Mack in Columbus where he sustained a skull fracture in an auto wreck a week earlier. His condition remains serious but shows some improvement in recent days. Ralph Blosser involved in the same accident returned home last Thursday and is recovering as expected.

Disinfectant accident blinds Silver Hill man
David Zaugg was sprayed with disinfectant when a sprayer nozzle Burst. Disinfectant splashed into his eyes causing one eye to go blind and the other nearly so for days. Vision has since improved to near normal.
