Reports say Max Ginns an Indianapolis jeweler was stopped by customs in New York as he left the steamer Ems with 2500 dollars worth of watches and related goods to dodge duties. the items were seized and will be sold.

Jean nie Barth, who went mad at a Spring Lake Revival meeting, was placed in a Kalamazoo Insane Asylum tub. Attendants drew off the water but boiled water was later added, scalding her severely. She died soon after in great agony.
