The Dalton Community Club met Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in U P church basement. Rev G Pinkerton gave the invocation as Geo Eastman presided. W P Slusser sought club support for a cemetery brick stand using local stones. Dr L L DeArment pledged educated dog entertainment and a $25 gift from Queen's money to begin the project. Passion Play Film At Dalton Methodist Church

Harvey Firestone, 69, famed Akron rubber magnate and ally of Ford and Edison, was found dead in his Miami Beach home on Monday. His body will be returned to Akron on Thursday for funeral services at St Paul’s Episcopal Church with burial in Columbiana, Ohio, near his birthplace farm.
