Sometime last Sunday between ten in the morning and four in the afternoon the W. and L. E. railroad depot at this place was broken into. Entry was gained by breaking a window pane on the northwest side of the ticket office. A small intruder left a chair step to reach the operator’s table. The money drawer was found left open by the agent Snyder earlier. nothing of value was taken.

A Lincoln day celebration will be held at the Silver Hill school house on Saturday night February 12. The program will include songs recitations exercises and dialogues. E I Ober will give a talk titled Sketches from the Life of Lincoln. The program begins at 7 30. J G Kurzen Teacher.
An old advertisement touts Pepto Mangan as a tonic to restore energy and rosy appearances. It claims weak sluggish blood affects mood and vitality, and promises marked improvement after use. It urges buying genuine Gude's Pepto Mangan in liquid or tablet form.
Local notes report song birds returning as a mild winter continues. Community updates include road work at Satem church with coal mine cars delivering earth for a basement. cement work postponed until frost danger passes.

Sonnenberg correspondent reports a market trip gone wrong when a farmer halted at the Sonnenberg store. The horse bolted home over icy roads, dumping eggs along the path and leaving the buggy strewn with yolk and shells.

Notice invites farmers to Shade's hall Saturday at 1 30 PM to learn about cooperative buying and The Farmers Equity Union plan. Speaker Mr Fet ter, director of The Ohio Central Equity at Lima, Ohio, and possibly others will address the gathering. Farmers urged to attend.

Farmers are urged to check Dague Bros prices for poultry and eggs, claiming two to three cents above market can add extra dollars yearly. The ad lists phones 4 on 55 and Lee 35 on 10 for contact.
Katharine Moser nee Hof stetter born October 12 1865 died February 2 1921 age 55 years 3 months 20 days married to David P. Moser February 15 1890 they shared 31 years of life. Survived by husband four children Bertha Calvin Ruth Glen two grandchildren three brothers three sisters many relatives and friends. Funeral held at Presbyterian church with Rev W J Mills of Hamilton Ontario officiating and burial in Dalton cemetery.
Heirs of Lewis C Davison are notified that Willis Horn filed an application to probate the will in Wayne County Ohio Probate Court on February 7 1921. The hearing is set for March 10 1921 at 9 oclock before Probate Judge Chas A Weiser.
