Hunsberger rites held Monday
Donald E. Hunsberger 53 of 3199 Harding Ave East Liverpool died Friday morning after a brief illness. Services were held at Trinity United Presbyterian Church with H Gene Toot officiating. Burial was in Dalton cemetery. He moved to East Liverpool in 1965 from the Canton Massillon area. He was director of instrumental music at Westgate Junior High and assisted with East Liverpool High School band. He was a choir director at the church. He was a member of VFW Post 5534 in Dalton and Cedar Lodge 430 F and A M at Orrville. He belonged to East Liverpool, Ohio and National Education Assn and National Music Educators Assn. He was formerly a Patron of Orrville Lodge 208 OES and the Yusef Kahn Grotto of Akron and played in their band. Born in Stark County he attended Washington High School in Massillon. He graduated from Dane Music Institute and Youngstown University and did graduate work at Western Reserve University. He held bachelor degrees in education and music and a masters in music. Survived by wife Helen Ruth Erwin and son David E of the home.
