Dalton School Notes Ahead of Friday Home Basketball

Chapel services Monday were led by Rev. Alexander. The last basketball game of the season is Friday night against Smithville at home. In class remarks, Mr. Pake nicknamed his history class the Pullman and Miss Lawerence labeled Latin II as the Pony Express. Kenneth Tschantz will represent Dalton at the Wayne Co Oratorical Contest at Apple Creek Monday night Feb 11. John W. Frye and Co. magicians will perform February 19 in an event sponsored by the Junior class.

About 560 Chevrolet dealers and bankers gathered in Cleveland for the annual dealer sales talk and banquet. They projected a production program of 1,250,000 units for 1929 and expressed strong optimism about the new six cylinder valve in head car and the expanded dealer co operation plan.

Dalton High boys and girls win and lose in local games

Dalton High celebrated a Friday double header win at Fredericksburg with the boys 34 to 23 and girls 24 to 16. Earlier Dalton boys fell to Sterling 18 to 15. A Saturday double header against Mt Eaton gave the boys a win while the girls lost. Tuesday at home Dalton defeated Doylestown with the girls 34 to 20 and the boys 26 to 16.
