January Egg Record at Welmer Poultry Farm

A January record at the H. H. Welmer Poultry Farm reports 17,543 eggs from a flock of 700 Leghorn hens. The birds began laying in fall and increased output through winter, averaging about 472 dozen eggs per day.

Barberton Youth Dies After Illness

Fred Willard, 15, son of Mr and Mrs Frank Snodgrass of Barberton, grandson of Mrs J W Erwin and A Aker, died at home Sunday after a week with flu and pneumonia. A Barberton High freshman, he is survived by his parents two brothers two sisters and many friends. Funeral Wednesday afternoon.
