The Dalton Homemakers Club gathered in the Methodist church social rooms on Thursday afternoon with Mrs Wayne Douglas leading devotions and Mrs Troy Douglas in charge of singing. Forty nine members and one guest, Mrs James Moody, answered roll call. Four members ill. Miriam Boult spoke on home lighting while Mrs Troy Douglas performed a piano solo. For the social hour, Mrs Lee H Douglas led a quiz. Hostesses served a chicken lunch.
