Dalton sends food into flood area from Dalton
A Dalton driven truck carrying perishable food and clothing donated by Dalton and area residents reached the flood sufferers last Wednesday night. Piloted by Stockham Houghton and Harper, the shipment went first to Columbus under American Legion command then to Manchester Ohio. Photographs were taken for display at First National Bank window. The party returned Thursday night.

Mrs Lavina Danner Dies at 88 on Kidron Road
Mrs Lavina Isabelle Danner 88 died at her home on the Kidron road Sunday evening at 7 30. Her husband John Danner died in 1930. She is survived by two sons Jesse Danner of Marshallville and Elmer Danner at home. Funeral services held at Dalton Presbyterian church Wednesday at 2 60 o'clock with burial in Dalton cemetery.
