The Sonnenberg Mutual Insurance Association held its annual meeting with President Lee H. Douglas presiding. Minutes were approved, and the treasurer’s report showed $57,290,819 in risks and 7,133 policies in force, up $4,165,475. Directors were reelected for three years. pay for directors set at $1.50 per hour. New board officers elected include Lee H. Douglas as President, R. V. Frederick as Vice President, and E. L. Sprunger as Secretary-Treasurer.

The World Day of Prayer will be observed Friday February 9 at 2 PM at Dalton Methodist Church. Ninety two nations participate, emphasizing interdenominational interracial and international fellowship. Burial service for the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kurzen RD 1 died at birth Friday in Wooster Community hospital. The ceremony was held Saturday afternoon at Dalton cemetery by Rev.
