Wedding Day Confers Union For Miss Ad and Melvin R Scott Jr
The United Methodist ceremony on December 14 united Miss Ad and Melvin Ray Scott Jr. at a reception in the church parlors followed by a modest gathering of about seventy. The bride wore white fur muffs and a circlet crown, mother of the bride wore Nile green and the mother of the groom lime, all with matching corsages. Dennis Machmeir of Akron served as best man, with ushers William Wilson and Michael Sommers. The bride, a Dalton High School graduate, previously worked for Schantz Organ Co. The groom, Central High School alumnus, served in the Navy, attends Akron University, and works for Goodyear.
