Electric Fence Co Incorporates Expansion Plans

The George P. Leitner Mfg Co filed articles of incorporation and plans a Dalton based expansion of its electric fence business. The firm will improve the former hotel property, add salesmen across Ohio Indiana and Michigan, and has sold over 530 electric fencers in Wayne Stark Medina Tuscarawas Holmes and Summit counties this year. Fifty dealers handle six models and a patented insect and bug exterminator will join the line for homes lawns dairy barns and stables. Incorporators are Leitner Robert Brenner and Rita Schromen.

A L Reynolds Dies At 55 Principal And Former State Representative

Arthur Logan Reynolds 55 principal of East Greenville public school and former Wayne county representative to the Ohio general assembly died of a heart attack at his Orrville home 871 Cleveland Ave. He taught Monday and collapsed en route from his mailbox to his house. Reynolds served in the state assembly 1926 to 1930 and was active Republican. He leaves widow Edith Fluquelet Reynolds two brothers Edwin and Franklin two sisters Mrs Alice Gravis and Mrs B W Monroe. Funeral Thursday 2 30 p m at Orrville Methodist church with interment in Crown Hill cemetery.

Snow Fence and Equipment Planned for Ohio Division 3

Ohio highways division 3 will install 161865 feet of snow fence across eight counties this winter with 18925 feet in Wayne county. Six snow plows and three motor tractors will be deployed across Wayne county, stored at sub stations for rapid use. Deputy Director M D Shaffer warns motorists to use extreme caution as rapid ice and snow can prevent timely road clearance and prevent skidding accidents.

Handel Messiah to be sung at Dalton High School

The oratorio The Messiah will be performed Sunday evening December 17 at 8 oclock in the Dalton high school auditorium. A sixty voice chorus, a string ensemble, and a community orchestra will accompany the vocal music with Christmas carols between choruses. Victor Gerber directs the choir and Miss Elvera Sommer is the pianist.

Lehman Shisler Wed In Dalton Presbyterian Home Ceremony

Miss Ruth Lehman daughter of Ada Lehman and the late Geo Lehman of Burton City married Carl Shisler son of Mr. and Mrs Jerry R Shisler northwest of Dalton at the bride’s home. Rev A J Sanders officiated with a single ring ceremony. Attendant Miss Mildred Brown wore black velvet. Best man was Richard Myers. A wedding dinner followed and the couple left for a honeymoon. The bride, a 1937 Orrville High School graduate, wore blackberry wine velvet. The groom, a 1936 Dalton High School graduate.

Miss Edna Jones daughter of T O Jones of West Lebanon married Frederick Levengood Saturday afternoon at 2 in the home of Mrs Marion Bachman Brewster by Rev Wilbur Gist.
