The Dalton Lumber and Supply Co. was sold Monday to Ira F Adams of Massillon. Adams has served as secretary treasurer with Brown Lumber Co. of Massillon for years and is well acquainted with the lumber business.
Dalton Sugar Creek and other Wayne county schools will close for the holidays on December 21 and reconvene on January 2, 1929.
East Greenville M E S S will host an oyster supper in the church basement from 5 30 to 8 00 pm on Friday night December 7. Tickets priced 25 and 35 cents.
The women of the U P church announce their annual Christmas bazaar and chicken supper for Saturday December 15 in the church basement Dalton Ohio. Menu features scalloped chicken mashed potatoes creamed lima beans baked apples pickles jelly buns pie and coffee plates priced at 50 cents served 5 to 7 p.m.

The couple plans to reside in Dalton after two weeks and Mrs. Domer has worked at Koehler's bakery in Orrville.
