A vintage Delineator recipe collection offers two relish methods. Slice twelve cucumbers and simmer in vinegar with garlic horseradish turmeric pepper ginger cinnamon celery seed cloves allspice mace red pepper and sugar before canning. Also pickle green tomatoes and onions with sugar vinegar salt mustard pepper all spice and cloves to create a waiting two month aged relish.

In Good Luck. O. L. Scott of Duffield Michigan recalls his father traveling from Mason City Iowa two years earlier and falling ill with diarrhoea and cramps. He treated him with Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy which cured him. For sale by A. J. White.
