A hailstorm hit the Sonnenberg area Friday causing heavy damage to corn and vegetation. After the storm a sharp temperature drop followed. The community recorded various personal notices including births, visits, travel plans, religious lectures, and upcoming events at churches and farms.
The M E Church announces a union service at 7 30 led by Rev A R Keiser with Sunday School at 9 30 and Epworth League at 6 30. Young Peoples Bible study is Tuesday evening and prayer meeting Wednesday evening.
The Kidron playground team changes from black and gold to blue and white with new sweaters bought last week. Benefactors including Cy Springer and other Kidron businessmen funded the gear. They plan to wear the new uniforms in the Orrville Labor Day tournament.
