Well Known Citizen Dies Suddenly
Mr. John Snyder of this place died Sunday morning after a stroke in Akron Ohio where he had been visiting Mrs. Cora E McDowell. The body returned here Monday and the funeral was held Wednesday at the Presbyterian church. Interment in Dalton cemetery. He was about 70 and survived by a sister Hattie Norris and a brother Rev L M Snyder.

Fatal Hearse Collision Kills Undertaker in Lodi
Late Monday afternoon S R Auble of Lodi was killed when the funeral hearse carrying Mrs Manford Berkey was struck by a Northern Ohio railroad train at River Corners. The hearse was demolished the casket opened and the body lay on the road.
