The transport Aztec arrived in San Francisco on June 21 after a 32 day Manila run and 24 day Nagasaki voyage. It carried Company M about 140 discharged soldiers and civilian employees and 5 cabin passengers. There are 62 men in Company H, with the rest of the regiment to come home on transports Ohio and Indiana.

Craig shipyards discharge 350 employees after strike deadlock

Toledo, June 20. Due to failure to settle with the machinists on strike since May 20, the Craig shipyards have discharged all its employees, totaling 350 men. There are 26 machinists among the strikers.
