George Myers 16 died in Spink County when a shotgun shell exploded as he tried to unload it. He was found by his father after midnight, the shot entering near the heart. His sister Mrs. Chas Wurfel is returning to support the family.

Little Child Dies After Brain Fever In Huron
Rev. and Mrs. F. H. Richardson mourn the death of their three year old son who died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday after several days of brain fever. The family moved from Booneville New York to Huron three years ago where Mr. Richardson has led the Baptist church. A short service was held at the home and the casket sent to Booneville for burial Wednesday night.

Prisoner fatally shot by deputy warden at Sioux Falls penitentiary
Robert White, a 26 year old prisoner serving ten years for murder in Yankton county, was shot by Deputy Warden Cooley and died about half an hour later after an assault in his cell. Four guards accompanied the deputy as White armed with a steel bar club attacked. White had been repeatedly punished and threatened prison staff. Hogan fired, the struggle ended with White's death.
