Gardis Teachers Hold Institute at Wallace
Sardishist teachers' institute closed at Wallace Friday afternoon. County Superintendent J. W. Oden and Prof. Frank White attended from the city and returned by night train. About twenty teachers and many Wallace citizens were present for a good program. Dr John Weir could not attend due to sickness. The next institute will be held on the second Saturday in January.

Dodge Sells Paint Store in Clarkburg to Joseph W Mallory

Explosion victims shipped for burial headline misspelled
Victims of a gas explosion were sent to their final resting place. Charles Douglas and one other identified by the fragmentary text were buried after the blast.
