Robbers broke into the O. E. Litton flour mill office along the Western Maryland Railroad in Hancock and escaped with 125 dollars in cash. The theft was discovered when the mill opened this morning. Constable Barnhart led the investigation with Deputies Cushwa and Goff en route to Hancock.

Bond secured by Judge Eugene O Dunne with property at Blue Ridge Summit. Both youths resided at their summer homes here when the incident occurred.
NEW YORK Sept 20. Les lie Simpson charged with murder of Illinois State highway patrolman Lory Price and his wife was arrested on the arrival of the steamer Stanley at Staten Island from Red Sea ports. Simpson taken into custody by State's Attorney Arlin Boswell and Deputy Sheriff George Bell of Williamson County and by New York Marine police detectives.

Kenyon Eugene Detmar and S J Wittman. The race covers El Paso Fort Worth and Pine Bluff with fuel stops charged to pilots.
A meeting is set for 7.45 tonight at Knights of Pythias Hall in Williamsport to organize a fire company ahead of the town water system launch. Water from the Hagerstown system is expected to enter Williamport mains in October. Mayor W. D. Byron calls the gathering, inviting taxpayers and interested residents. he will preside. H. G. Spaulding of Baltimore, state representative for a fire insurance firm, will speak on organizing the fire company.

Two Cumberland boys Raymond Lawrence aged 11 and Sylvester Smith aged 9 roamed Hancock for a week. They were found by Constable Charles Barnhart along the Western Maryland Railroad, expressed a wish to return home, and will be sent back on a bus with fare paid by Mayor John T. Mason. They had not eaten since yesterday morning and were given food.
Virginia Zilke 26 turned the pistol on her three month old son and herself after a troubled day at their Burleigh Heights home in Anne Arundel county. The infant died on arrival at South Baltimore General Hospital while the mother remained in serious condition. She told Magistrate Melvin the baby was cross and she was tired, and cited poverty and thoughts of husband as motives. The husband, recently employed, said the family had been strained by poverty and that he found them in the backyard chicken coop after the shooting.
