One of the heaviest fogs in years slowed traffic to a snail's pace early today as hundreds of motorists en route to work drove cautiously. No serious accidents were reported. The fog began lifting around 8 a.m. Thunderstorms caused a 14 minute power outage in Hancock. Weather calls for clearing tonight and partly cloudy, warm tomorrow with scattered showers. Temperatures ranged from 51 to 76 degrees with rain measured at Keedysville station.

One car was a total loss in a collision with a parked car on West Wilson Boulevard. Haynes, 35, of 625 South Potomac Street, was traveling east when his vehicle struck a parked car owned by Robert K. Two More Fac: Charges Here In Abduction
Two more Maugansville area residents will face charges of conspiracy to commit assault in the E Hege abduction case. State’s Attorney Tom Kaylor said the two men helped plan to take Mr Hege to a hospital and were present at the barn. They will be charged though they did not touch the victim. warrants to be drawn and served. Hege was taken from his barn on August 16 by seven men aided by a nurse and later released after sheriff investigations.

Martinsburg Men Die In Wet Highway Crash
