The Clever Bible class of Christ Reformed church held a weiner and corn roast at E. E. Durbin's home in Bridgeport. Attendees included Rev. H. A. Fesperman, R. Paul Smith, Charles Plack, L. A. Homemakers Club Hosts Reading and Food Judging

Mrs Moss Elliott and Mrs Roy Sword hosted the Huyetts Homemakers club at Mrs Elliott’s home. Members read the collect and roll call then sang Silver Threads Among the Gold. Ardath Martin spoke on Food Preservation followed by a canned goods judging contest with prizes to Mrs Harry Long and Miss Maude Strite.
