Mogensen Named Deputy City Tax Collector in Hagerstown
Charles W. Smith reported 23 building permits issued in September with an estimated value of 66 451 dollars. Edwin G. Health Meeting Reports 50 Communicable Diseases in Hagerstown

Pastor Guilty Facing Chair in Insured Murder Case
Rev Walter Dworceki a 45 year old Camden Polish Baptist minister was found guilty of first degree murder in the strangling of his 18 year old daughter Wanda. A seven man five woman jury sentenced him to death in the electric chair after 12 hours of deliberation and heard the case starting at 10 33 am. The state accused him of hiring a carnival roustabout to kill Wanda so he could collect 2690 in life insurance.
