Habercon formerly Mrs J D Habercon of South Cannon Avenue joined the Women's Army Corps two years ago and met her son Allen in Manila where they are both stationed. Allen, a captain in the U S Engineers, was transferred from the European Theater to Manila. Habercon overseas for over a year came from New Guinea. She has a grandson Guy serving with the U S Navy on Saipan, left this country in August. A daughter remains in Hagerstown to care for grandchildren. Apples Vanish From Washington County Stores
