Elder Apsley Dies After Brief Illness
Elder Geo R Apsley pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church died at the Washington Sanitarium Ta D C at 54 after a brief illness. He served 35 years in the denomination and 25 years with the Chesapeake Conference in roles from colporteur evangelist to Bible teacher. He came to Hagerstown from Salisbury in 1930 and left a wife two daughters Miss Nellie and Mrs Frank Herbert and a son Carvel. He was buried at Rock Hall Md yesterday afternoon.
