City clarifies sewerage bond sale and market impact
Mayor Musey stated the $300000 sewerage bond sale reflects a tight money market rather than bondholder indifference. City officials note the slight bidding drop is due to overall market conditions, with bonded indebtedness a minor factor. Sewerage work is essential and the project’s value outweighs the small price difference.
